'Kalyna'

Vera Graziadei is a British Ukrainian poet, actor and filmmaker. After a degree and Masters in Philosophy at London School of Economics, Vera completed BA Acting from London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) in 2006. She was signed up by Curtis Brown upon graduation and since then worked as an actor in film, TV, theatre and radio in the UK and internationally. She's mostly recognised for playing a regular role in British cult sitcom Peep Show. In 2013 she founded a film production company Luminous Arts, written and directed an award-winning short A Map of the World, acted in and produced TV film based on Dostoevsky's novel Nameless Nobody, directed a poetry film The Silence of I Am and acted in and produced a poetry film White Light, which won Best Experimental Short at the New York Independent Film Festival. Recently she acted in and directed a short black comedy In the Woods with a Dead Dog, adapted from the short story by Michel Faber, and produced and acted in a feature film The Book of Vision, starring Charles Dance and executively produced by Terrence Malick. www.veragraziadei.art
